ABOUT US
Anita’s Elite Dance and Performing Arts is the only studio in southeast Michigan that offers quality performance opportunities in the industry! Our strong relationships in the performing arts world helps us provide quality performance opportunities as well as direct access to auditions for several opportunities throughout the country.
At Anita’s, we have developed strong relationships with, not only performing arts professionals but with college administrators as well. With this, we have the opportunity to help our students achieve their goals in obtaining college acceptances and scholarships in the performing arts field.
We offer fantastic programs in singing, dancing, and musical theater for aspiring young performers. Our goal is to create a supportive community that builds self-confidence in our students. Anita's Elite Dance and Performing Arts strives to represent inclusion and takes pride in our efforts to ensure every performer feels like they are a part of our family.
We also offer a comprehensive recreational dance program that encompasses all the same values stated above.
CLASSES OFFERED
At Anita's, we provide, not only a variety of classes of skills and techniques, but an opportunity to be a part of a team and a family. There are many lessons learned in the world of dance, such as: communication skills, teamwork, perseverance, trust, community, friendship, dedication, and so much more.
Acro
Explore different levels of tumbling-- anywhere from basic to advanced
Ballet/Pointe
The backbone of dance; teaches posture, coordination, flexibility, musicality, and flow.
Drama
Learn basic acting skills such as: performing, singing, and movement.
Hip Hop
Incorporation of street-style dance put into fun, fast-paced combinations.
Jazz
Fun and energetic combinations to rhythms and techniques of jazz music.
Lyrical
Expressive form of dance combining fluidity of ballet and jazz techniques.
Singing
Students are given singing instruction, proper exercises and vocal study materials.
Tap
Rhythmic footwork used to create percussion through dance.
